The Palms Denarau Fiji

Lots of like , such as the friendly cleaners, and staff in general. One feedback I will have and will comment in booking .com is that the floor seems to be quite dirty although it doesn’t appear on the surface. Wearing a white sock shows how dirty it is. Maybe ensuring the mop water is clean and rinse often. The room wasn’t ready by 3pm which is disappointing. You asked me when I was arriving and it seems the response didn’t mean much. You promote room to be ready by 3pm. This didn’t happen. Also at checkout, there were two staff, very nice, but at no time did they ask about how was my stay and just have a farewell conversation. That would have been good.

The location was excellent, helpful staff and tour desk, kitchen set up was basic but good, and the bula bus was cheap and great to visit other resorts for a meal and drink.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were travelling with family that were staying elsewhere and regularly had reception calling cabs for us to travel between locations which they happily accommodated. Check in/out was easy. We had expected for the price to have a standard, fairly small, room but it was HUGE and so comfortable. Our balcony faced out to the street/marina so we were nervous we'd have some discomfort with noise but it was not a problem at all!

The location is perfect. A short walk across the road to the ferry terminal and small shopping center. The rooms are very spacious, bonus is the washer and dryer in each room. The hotel staff are always so warm and inviting, all wearing big smiles. The on-site cafe service wasn't the best on day 1 however they improved as our stay progressed. The kids loved the pool. Smoking friendly property, ashtrays supplied ok each deck table. Fully air-conditioned in the main living area as well as each room. We will definitely be back!

The location is so convenient directly across from Port Denarau where there is a good selection of restaurants and shops, as well as short walking distance to the other larger hotels. This was perfect for a short stay as we had an early flight the next morning. We had a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor which was generous in space and we were so happy to have a washing machine and dryer for our wet stuff before we headed home.
